Let me start off by saying I have never config a Nortel Swtich before. I have two of them now a 5510 and 5520. I would like to know how I can get in and set differnt VLANS up. I am very new to this and wonder if there is a GUI style way to config these switches. I here the only way to get to the software on these switches is through the console which I don't even know how to access. So please I am a newbie at this but I do want to learn it and it can't be that hard, I don't have a complex network so a couple of VLANS would do the trick, I just hope there is a way to set it up GUI instead of command line.Wow, a nortel brethren. Not too many of us left.

The idea is to tag all link ports(between your switches) between the AP and the firewall. All link ports must be members of all vlans you want to pass.
The link to the AP must also be tagged lets say vlan 3 goes to your guest SSID and vlan 1 is for your business network. The same goes for your firewall at the other end. It must support vlan tagging with virutal interfaces or you will need two nic ports in your firewall router. The virtual interface with vlan tagging is much easier. If you have to go with the dual nic route. You will make each port on the switch a non tagging port and set the pvid to on port #1 to 1 and port #2 on the switch to 3.
